They better be! It's 2020. When the first Gay and Lesbian divorces occurred after the Supreme Court reversed hundreds of years of marriage discrimination, Divorce Courts correctly adjusted to the reality that married people, regardless of their identity or orientation, also divorce. Though the LGBTQ Community fought so hard for equal marital rights, said rights do not mean perpetual marital bliss.
Put simply, an LGBTQ divorce should be handled as professionally, compassionately and vigorously as any other divorce.
